We are a band from East Lansing, Michigan that just happens to have a fun little website with all of our lore. It started when four kids (Noah, Walter, Shiv, and Dylan) decided to sign up for the School of Rock East Lansing's summer songwriting camp. It only lasted a week, but this is where it all began. Walter decided on the Thursday of that week that he would wear a lovely banana hat, gifted to him for his 13th birthday. Noah, Walter, Shiv, Dylan, and the instructors Alex and Joey realized that The Banana Bandits would be the absolute perfect name for our band! Noah's aunt designed keychains and hats themed around Banana Bandits, and she even gave us some banana candy. Our show the next day was incredible! We played the songs Spacebound Again, Walter's Odyssey, In My Band, and of course, the Banana Bandits theme song that (if you clicked the unmute button in the upper right corner) you are hearing a remix* of right now!
